September 24th Ameco Beijing and Taiwan EVA Air signed a four-year Boeing 747-400 LDG overhaul GTA, which covers 4 sets of LDGs. Based on the agreement, the first set of LDGs will be slotted for overhaul in this October.

Kris Kuo, the Executive Vice President of EVA Air expressed that they had several cooperation with Ameco Beijing out of their trust on the maintenance service Ameco Beijing provided in regard to product TAT, cost and on-time delivery.

As the pacemaker of repair and overhaul on Landing Gears (LDGs) in China, Ameco Beijing can overhaul the Boeing series LDGs and A320 LDGs. Additionally, Ameco Beijing set up its own LDG spare pool in attempt to better provide exchange/overhaul services.

As part of the multinational Landing Gear Alliance, together with Lufthansa Technik and Hawker Pacific, Ameco Beijing is further expanding its LDG overhaul/exchange capabilities, with the aim of continuing to provide better and faster services for our global customers.

In 2008, Ameco Beijing’s LDG workload has increased by 84% from Jan. to July, compared with the same period last year. LDG service is expected to maintain this momentum of growth in the second half year. At present, Ameco Beijing’s LDG customer base has been expanded beyond Chinese mainland to USA, Europe, Africa, Asia, etc.
